Sustainable Development

Industrial, social and environmental responsibility

At IDE, we understand sustainable development as a way of moving forward by balancing three essential dimensions: economic growth, social responsibility and respect for the environment.

As an industrial company, we work to create value in our surroundings, foster long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and partners, and conduct our activities according to environmentally responsible principles.

Our commitment is reflected in the continuous improvement of processes, materials and resources, with the aim of progressively reducing the impact of our activity and contributing to a more efficient and sustainable industrial model.

Measures aimed at reducing environmental impact

We are moving towards more sustainable solutions through specific actions relating to our products, packaging and technical documentation:

  • Use of recyclable materials in our products.

  • Compliance with RoHS requirements.
  • Introduction of more responsible packaging made from recycled cardboard.

  • A policy aimed at reducing and eliminating plastic materials from packaging.

  • Use of QR codes to reduce printed instructions.

  • Printing catalogues and price lists on recycled FSC-certified paper.

  • Calculation of our carbon footprint as a tool to measure, monitor and drive further improvement.

These measures form part of our commitment to a more responsible industry, capable of providing reliable, high-quality solutions while continuing to protect the environment.

Commitment to the future

Sustainability is a journey of continuous improvement. We therefore continue working to optimise our processes, reduce resource consumption and develop solutions that meet the current needs of the electrical sector without compromising those of future generations.
