AFME honors Alfonso Montañés’s professional trajectory
May 25, 2026
A tribute to his professional and personal legacy in the electrical sector.
The Association of Electrical Equipment Manufacturers (AFME) has paid tribute to our founder, Alfonso Montañés, for a life dedicated to bolstering the electrical sector in Spain.
This tribute holds a very special meaning for us, as it highlights not only a professional career marked by innovation and adaptability but also the human legacy that Alfonso has built since the early days of IDE.
His business philosophy has been key to driving a project that, since its inception in 1987, has been committed to quality and trust. Values that continue to be part of our identity and inspire us to keep growing together as a team.
We are deeply grateful to AFME for this award. Likewise, we would like to thank everyone whose efforts and trust have made this possible: the IDE Electric team, our customers, and industry partners.
Thank you for walking alongside us!
